Sample Widdershins Audio Book

All three of my historical novels will be available as audio books later in 2021. Christine Mackie is narrating Widdershins and its sequel Sunwise, and you may recognise her dulcet tones from TV series such as Downton Abbey and Coronation Street. She’s done a fabulous job of bringing my books to life and I can’t wait to share them with you.

So here’s a snippet here for you to enjoy now. The first audiobook excerpt is from chapter 1 of Widdershins: ‘The Afflicted Messenger’. In this scene, a Scottish wise woman tends the wounds of John Sharpe, the boy who will grow up to be the notorious witchfinder behind the Newcastle witch trials.

The Running Wolf is being narrated by actor, writer and producer, Richard Turner, and I’ll share an excerpt of his work very soon.

Best wishes, Helen
